Little Mix's Jesy Nelson reveals the secret to her killer 'abs' in body confident post
Jesy Nelson has shared a secret with her fans about her killer abs, admitting she doesn’t actually have any.
In a body confidence post shared to Instagram the Little Mix singer, dished out a dose of Insta vs reality by revealing that she doesn’t actually have a flat stomach.
The 28-year-old star told her 6.6 million followers the appearance of her abs is actually the result of her breathing in, making it appear as though she has abs when, in fact, they are indents.
As way of an illustration, Jesy proved her theory by filming herself sat cross-legged on the floor in front of a mirror.
As she breathed in, the indents appeared on her stomach.

In the accompanying caption the star went on to explain that she’s learning to accept her body and she hopes her fans can do the same.
“I always get a lot of people comment on my abs in photos but I promise you I actually don’t have abs lol.
“I’m here to tell you I DONT have abs ladies and this is what my chocolate loving belly really looks like.”
The singer continued by explaining that though she dreamt of being a size out, she’s come to realise that she never will be, and she’s totally fine with that.
“I’ve come to terms with the fact that I bloody love my food and that will never change.”
Jesy admitted that she doesn’t want to “preach” about body confidence because she doesn’t always “love [her] body” but she’s “slowly starting to just accept it for what it is”.
She finished her powerful post by reassuring fans they are all beautiful in their own ways and encouraging people to love the skin their in.

And fans were quick to comment on the post praising Jesy for opening up about her insecurities and offering inspiration to others to try to love their own.
“You’re my inspo girl!” one fan wrote. “I’m a size 12-14 and starting to think I always will be! I’ve lost lots of weight before and not happy then either because I lose my boobs and my face goes gaunt,so trying to accept what I’ve got and work on getting it in shape instead of losing it!”
“The strength you have and the power that you hold,” another fan wrote, simply.
“You've come a long way Jesy and in happy you’re embracing yourself. We all are,” another agreed.
“This genuinely makes me feel better about myself because I struggle so much with my body and especially my stomach,” yet another fan wrote.
It isn’t the first time Jesy has opened up about her body confidence battles. In November, the pop star opened up about the upset that online trolls had caused in the BBC documentary Odd One Out.
