List of things women shouldn't wear after 30 goes viral for the best reason

As soon as you’re not in your early 20s any more, it can feel as if the fashion world isn’t on your side.

So one might assume that a list titled ‘Top 20 Things NO WOMAN Should Wear After 30’ would have pretty predictable things in it; no flashing any flesh, no exciting shoes and other totally ageist, sexist things.

But when one Twitter user Molly Hodgdon decided to create it, it contained things we certainly wouldn’t have expected.

And they’re hilarious.

Things women over 30 shouldn’t wear include a “shirt made of wasps”, and “untested jetpack” and a “necklace made of human ears”.

As you go down the list, it just gets better and better – and we can all agree that yes, no woman over 30 (nor under) should be wearing any of these things.

We don’t envy anyone that’s worn a leaky backpack full of cream of mushroom soup before, or high heels if they’re getting chased in a horror film.

Sound advice, Hodgdon – here’s to ignoring rules (apart from these ones).
