Kate Moss' daughter Lila proudly sports blood glucose monitor in ‘Fendace’ campaign
The phrase ‘the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree’ has never been more true than when talking about Lila Moss, supermodel Kate Moss’ 19-year-old daughter.
The lookalike daughter is also entering the world of modelling (despite some protest from her mother) and is making an impact every step of the way.
Lila, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of eight, has been making her own way in the hard-to-crack fashion industry, but she won’t let her diagnosis get in the way of her career, nor will she sacrifice her health for it.

The 19-year-old posed for Versace and Fendi’s latest joint campaign – aptly called Fendace – while wearing her diabetes monitoring device on her upper arm.
Lila appears in the star-studded campaign wearing a sleeveless silk dress, and a tiny matching black and gold handbag for the collaboration between Donatella Versace and Fendi’s womenswear artistic director, Kim Jones.

The young model’s blood glucose device can be visibly seen on her upper left arm. The pump measures and displays the amount of sugar (glucose) in your blood on the move, without having to do a pin-prick test.
It also gives people with diabetes a steady flow of insulin throughout the day and is used instead of injecting before every meal, and is usually worn on the thighs, stomach or upper arms.

Lila was praised for proudly displaying the device on her upper leg while walking the runway for a joint show between Versace and Fendi last September, wearing a gold embroidered jacket and knickers.
Lila also joined her mother Kate Moss, 48, for the 2022 Met Gala red carpet, wearing a sheer embellished Burberry gown that showed her insulin pumps on both her arm and leg for the event.
