Kym Marsh turned heads in a striking black dress as she joined a host of celebs at the 2024 Pride Of Britain Awards on Monday. The 48 year old actress made a statement with a dramatic voluminous hairstyle as she struck a pose on the red carpet at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. Kym chose a figure-hugging black dress with a polo neck and puffed satin sleeves for her grand entrance at the event alongside her son David, 28, and Emilie, 26, Cunliffe.

The Waterloo Road star styled her brunette locks into a swept-back bouffant, complemented by a matching hairband. Kym was among some of the UK's biggest stars at the awards, including Maura Higgins, who was seen getting close to newly single Strictly star, Olivia Attwood and Helen Flanagan. The annual Pride Of Britain Awards marked its 25th year, with Ashley Banjo and Carol Vorderman returning as co-hosts. Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks were on hand to host the red carpet, while GK Barry presented online content at her very own bar during the event.

Before the ceremony, The King and Prime Minister Keir Starmer paid tribute to the nation's unsung heroes. The King described them as "the very best" of us, while Sir Keir stated, "They embody everything that is great about Britain."

King Charles' heartfelt words were shared in a letter to King's Trust Young Achiever winner Molly Leonard, which brought her grandmother to tears as she read it out loud. Besides praising Molly, he penned: "On this 25th anniversary of the Pride of Britain Awards, I send my warmest admiration to all of this year's winners. You each represent the very best in our society."

The Prime Minister also had some inspiring words for the winners, stating: "Britain is proud of you". He continued, "For a quarter of a century, the Pride of Britain awards have celebrated the people who embody everything that is great about Britain. These are people from all walks of life, but they all have one thing in common. They're heroes. They may not be the cape-wearing superheroes we normally think of in fact, they look just like the rest of us. But they do have something that makes them very special indeed. Bravery, determination, generosity, empathy and huge spirit.

"They have the power to touch our hearts, to make us hopeful, to make us proud. They're a testament to the incredible things people can achieve even in the face of hardship."
