6 tiny handbags cheaper than Kim Kardashian-West's miniature Birkin

Miniature handbags have been a prominent fixture on both catwalks and celebrities arms in recent months. Rihanna, Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner have been spotted sporting the trend.

But there’s one A-lister who’s been flying the miniature bag flag all season: Kim Kardashian-West.

The businesswoman is clearly a huge fan of the tiny accessory and one even features prominently in her latest Instagram post.

We were hoping that the minuscule accessory would be within our budget, but sadly, it’s none other than a Hermés Kelly Mini Birkin.

Hermés handbags are one of the most coveted bags in the world, with a second-hand Kelly Mini averaging at around £8,000 and £14,000 for more exotic and rarer materials on Vestiaire Collective.

They are considered investment pieces that increase in value over time and are usually passed down through generations because each individual bag is unique. The bags are so rare to buy that you have to join a waitlist and be invited to Hermés boutiques to purchase them.

The reality-star turned lawyer-in-training is no stranger to carrying luxury miniature bags. Earlier this year she was seen carrying the IT-bag of the season: the Le Sac Chiquito by Jacquemus.

The French-label debuted the micro bag during its Spring Summer 2017/2018 runway show at Paris Fashion Week. It soon became one of the hottest accessories and saw a whole host of celebrity fans, such as Beyonce, adding it to their vast wardrobes.

The bag measured at 12cm (4in) and 6cm (2.5in), is smaller than a credit card and retails for £365.
