Kim Kardashian's skintight Met Gala look took eight months to create
Kim Kardashian turned heads at the Met Gala in NYC last night, arriving in one of the tightest dresses of the night.
Kim pulled out all the stops in a latex dress designed covered in beaded crystals resembling water droplets.
The bespoke outfit was created by French fashion designer Thierry Mugler, who came out of a 20-year-long retirement in order to create the reality star’s look.

It wasn’t a quick job: the dress took eight months to put together, Kim revealed in a red carpet interview with US Vogue.
"This is the first time in 20 years Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Mugler," she told the publication.
"So to come and design this gown for me is such an honour. This is about eight months in the making.

As for the inspiration behind the look, Kim also shared a picture of Sophia Loren in the film ‘Boy on a Dolphin’ on her Instagram Story – which would suggest her look is a homage to this one.
Kim wore not one, but two outrageous looks last night, changing into a skintight blue dress complete with matching boots and fingerless gloves – plus a peroxide wig – for the Met Gala after party.
While the first wet-look number might be one of her boldest looks yet, it is true Kim is hardly known to do things by half measures.
This is the woman who recently almost flashed her nipples in another Thierry Mugler dress, which was likened to a backwards sports bra.
Last month, she also sported a barely-there, teeny tiny Chanel bikini.
