Kim Kardashian comes under fire for 'toxic' weight loss advice
Just a mere matter of weeks ago, Kim Kardashian found herself in hot water thanks to her promotion of ‘appetite suppressant lollipops‘.
Now, the reality television star has sparked further controversy after writing a post on her website titled: ‘How I Maximise Fat Loss’.
The article details her weekly cardio workouts but a large majority of social media users will not be giving it a read.
Actress and former television presenter, Jameela Jamil, was the first to lead the backlash with a tweet which reads: “How do we minimise this woman’s bullshit? When will she just love herself and stop obsessing about how to ‘fix’ problems that were never there? She was always beautiful. She’s never seen it because she is broken by the SAME society that she now contributes more toxicity to.”

She continued, “This whole family makes me feel sad. All the money and fame in the world can’t make you stop hating your nose, your lips, your arse, your weight, your skin, your age, your SELF. 10 years we have heard of little more than their obsession with looks and how to fix ‘imperfections’.”

Kardashian fans also took to Twitter to call out the 37-year-old, as one commented: “I think you should think about what you promote more and the affect it has on others, you have so much influence, especially on young girls.”
While another accused the mother-of-three of plastic surgery, as they wrote: “Please be real, don’t be a fraud. Well all know you went under the knife. How can you promote this?”

But it’s not the first time the reality star has come under fire.
A few months back, Jameela Jamil kick-started a body positive movement in response to an image which depicts the varying weights of the Kardashian sisters.

Entitled, ‘I Weigh’, the social media campaign encourages users to share the attributes which make up their identity as opposed to a meaningless number on the scales.
