Kendall and Kylie Jenner forced to remove "disgusting" band T-shirts
Kendall and Kylie Jenner have been forced to pull a line of 'vintage' band T-shirts after they sparked widespread criticism.
The sisters superimposed their faces on iconic artworks for musicians such as Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Kiss and Pink Floyd.
The public challenged whether or not the Jenners should have used their faces over such esteemed artists - or indeed, whether they should class the T-shirts as 'vintage' when they were in fact, not. However, it was when Biggie Smalls' mother, Voletta Wallace, threatened legal action that the designs were finally withdrawn. Pictures of the items have also been removed from their social media feeds.
Wallace shared an Instagram post claiming that the Jenners had not sought the right to use the images.
"I am not sure who told @kyliejenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this," Wallace's post read. "The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me. I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my son Christopher to sell a T-shirt. This is disrespectful, disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!!!"
