Katie Price left 'looking like an octopus' after surgery and was crying out in agony, says ex Carl Woods
Katie Price's ex fiancé Carl Woods has claimed she was left looking "like an octopus" after undergoing surgery in Turkey. Carl, 35, who was with the star on and off for three and a half years before they called it quits for good last November, witnessed many of Katie's operations throughout their relationship.
One was during a couple’s trip to Istanbul, where he was going to have full body liposuction alongside the 46 year old, but lost his nerve once he saw the “shocking state” of her when she was wheeled out of the operating theatre. “I got wrapped up in it all for a while – because she was constantly on this mission for perfection, so I started criticising myself. But when I saw her after her lipo, I was like, ‘Oh, my God. No, no way are they doing that to me,'" he told OK!.
“She looked like she’d been hit by a train. I told the doctors to take my cannula out there and then, and said, ‘I’m not going through with it.’ She looked like an octopus, she had so many drains coming out of her. Her wounds had pus, they were bleeding, and she was crying in agony. I looked at her and I thought, ‘Why are you doing this to yourself?”

Katie and Carl, who got engaged in 2021 after a whirlwind 10-month romance, documented that particular surgical procedure in detail on her personal YouTube channel. The graphic footage shows the op itself and details her recovery, showing Katie groaning in agony as nursing staff remove drains and bandages.
The former glamour model told The Sun at the time: "Honestly, I’ve gone to hell and back, it was horrific — ‘Oh my God I look like a monster out of a horror movie.' I just thought, ‘This is it, I’m going to die.' I was terrified of looking like a freak, like that Bride of Wildenstein or a fake doll."

Katie, who is now dating former Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, added: "I’ve woken up with holes and stitches all over my body. I look like I’ve got cat’s whiskers coming out of my nose and eyes. But I just want the old Katie back!”
The star's past surgeries have included a nose job, veneers, lip fillers, liposuction and Botox, culminating in her first facelift in 2017. But her most famous surgical procedure has to be her boob jobs – a whopping 17 in total.
Her history of going under the knife dates back to her first boob job at the age of 20. Yet in 2021, she insisted she was not addicted to cosmetic surgery. Carl strongly disagrees, saying: “She’s totally addicted. In the time I was with her she had three boob jobs.”
And he fears her surgeries are part of a potentially fatal “mission for perfection”. He said: "They say in your life you can only have so much anaesthetic before it’s a problem. And like everything in her life, Kate likes to push the boundaries. I feel like she’ll never be happy. Unfortunately, there could be that final time she doesn’t wake up. Sadly, I do 100% believe that could happen. But Kate never spoke to me about being scared about it, she’d brush off all that talk.”
A representative for Katie said: “It’s disappointing that people who were once close to Kate are now exploiting her insecurities and mental health issues.”
