Kerry Katona was dealt a blow this week when she suffered a robbery in broad daylight, with her bag stolen from a London hotel she was staying at. Opening up about the ordeal in her exclusive column this week, the former Atomic Kitten star admitted the theft was 'triggering'.

Elsewhere in her column, Kerry gives an update on her impending facelift, congratulates Princess Beatrice on her pregnancy and reveals why she turned off Philip Schofield's new show, Cast Away, after just 30 seconds...

A scary week

I was robbed in London while staying in a hotel in Mayfair last week – I couldn’t believe it, I have the worst luck.

Ryan and I were checking in to the hotel, which I won’t name, and since our room wasn’t ready we left our bags with the concierge and grabbed some lunch.

I left my Gucci holdall with them which had all my medication in it for my back and chronic pain, the phone I use for my banking apps, my earphones and much more. I did notice a man who was acting strangely in the hotel lobby while we were there but I don’t like to judge people, so didn’t think anything of it. However, later the hotel said my bag was missing and after checking the CCTV, we saw him take it once Ryan and I had left. It was so triggering for me and I did feel emotional afterwards, it’s just so scary to think you’re not safe.

Thankfully, Ryan and I are OK and things can be replaced, it’s just frustrating and scary. I don’t understand how people can wake up and decide to do these things, it’s awful. When things like this happen it makes me scared to go out as I don’t want to be targeted.

Facing it

Katie Price and Kerry Katona

On a brighter note, I had my facelift consultation this week and I can’t wait for it. I’m not getting a full facelift, it’s just a lower face and neck lift. I went to Pall Mall Medical and I trust them completely. I think if you want something done, then why not? I am getting older so some tweaks are OK, without going too far.

I’ve got panto in December, where Katie Price and I are starring in Cinderella, so I’m not going to have it done until next year. I am always going to be nervous but I trust my doctors and am excited. Recovering from surgery is a bit like giving birth, it’s scary and tough when you do it, but then later you want another one!

Congrats, Princess Beatrice!

I want to say a massive congratulations to Princess Beatrice on her pregnancy. Children are always a joy and I’m wishing her the best. It’s always nice to see young generations coming into the royal family.

I know her family has had a lot of controversy because of her dad, Prince Andrew, but I don’t think she should be defined by his actions. It’s the same for my kids, I hope they don’t get tarred with the same brush as me because of what I’ve done.

I’m grateful to Andrew though, he knocked me off the top spot for biggest car crash interview!

Oh no, Schofe

So, last week I said we’d all be watching Phillip Schofield’s new show Cast Away, but if I’m honest, I turned it off after about 30 seconds! I couldn’t believe he was not only starring in the show but he also started by narrating it – could it get any more self-centred?

I saw Eamonn Holmes talking about it on GB News and I completely agree with him, I think Phillip is obsessed with fame. I couldn’t watch it without cringing.
