Katie Holmes just made us really want some red velvet Mary Janes

The star was papped in New York this week wearing a pink boyfriend shirt, simple white tank top, wide-leg blue jeans and the perfect pair of Mary Jane flats. Ruby red in colour and luxuriously velvet in texture, they feel like the kind of festive shoe we need to complete our Christmas party outfits this season.
Katie's Mary Janes look to be from Californian cool-girl brand Dôen, where they will set you back £228. There's only one size left in stock at the time of writing (it's your lucky day if you're a 5.5), but they also come in black velvet, patent black and black mesh dot.
