In a recent tweet, the 25-year-old made sexual assault allegations against the creative director in light of the #MeToo movement.
She later shared a screenshot of her emotive tweet via Instagram and captioned the post: “He shouldn’t be allowed to use his power in the industry to sexually and emotionally harass women #metoo”
The model starred in several campaigns for the fashion label throughout 2010 and 2011 but did not state whether she was a victim of Marciano.
At the time, the 25-year-old was represented by IMG Models before leaving the company in 2014 to focus on her acting career. She is currently signed with Lions Model Management.
Upton’s comments were made in the wake of several sexual assault allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.
The #MeToo movement was founded by activist Tarana Burke in the hope of raising awareness of sexual violence and celebrities including Alyssa Milano, Natalie Portman and Lupita Nyong’o have joined the fight for justice.
