The Cambridges and Sussexes were side by side as they walked to the annual church service at St Mary Magdalene in Sandringham on Christmas Day.

It’s the first time we’ve seen the Fab Four together since the Remembrance Day services in November and local well-wishers gathered to greet the royal couples.

If there was any hint of the rumoured rift between them, it certainly didn’t show as they laughed and chatted together.

Kate wore a new double-breasted burgundy coat with a velvet collar by Catherine Walker, with a matching £830 Jane Taylor halo band.

She teamed it with her Gianvito Rossi 105 pumps in the bordeaux colourway, her Mulberry Bayswater clutch bag and burgundy gloves.

She also wore her £5,000 Asprey oak leaf earrings and what appeared to be a new floral brooch.

Husband William wrapped up in a dark coat and a grey scarf.

Meghan, who is around six months pregnant, wore a navy coat and knee-high boots by British fashion designer Victoria Beckham. Harry donned a suit with a light blue tie.

The foursome were joined by the Prince of Wales, who celebrated his 70th birthday last month.

His wife Camilla was not at today’s service, after missing an appearance at the Olympia Horse Show last week due to a heavy cold. It’s believed that the Duchess of Cornwall is still recovering from the bug.

The royals stopped to talk to well-wishers after the service, with both Kate and Meghan receiving flowers.

The Queen, 92, arrived for the service via car, dressed in a grey coat with pink accents and a matching feathered hat.

The Duke of Edinburgh was also not present at today’s service. Prince Philip, 97, retired from public duties last year and will be spending the day privately with his family.

Her Majesty was also joined by other members of her family at the service, including Princess Beatrice and newlyweds Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.

After church the royals will return to Sandringham House and tuck into a traditional turkey lunch with all the trimmings, before sitting down to watch the Queen’s speech at 3pm.

In the evening, there is usually a buffet and the royals usually don formal wear for the occasion.
