Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson welcome their first child together
Congratulations to Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson, who have welcomed their first child together.
The couple recently welcomed a daughter together, according to a confirmation made by their representatives to People. “Both mother and baby are happy and healthy,” the reps added.
The Hollywood couple, who reportedly married some time last year, tend to be very private about their personal lives, but have both opened up to talk about the impending challenges and blessings of parenthood.
While appearing on Good Morning America last month, Jackson talked about the parenting advice that his Little Fires Everywhere co-stars, Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, gave him.

"Both of them were incredibly helpful, both in like, finding doctors, OBs, just resources of people to talk to, and then, frankly, just leading by example, because the both of them are not just actresses, but they run their own companies, they're both mothers, they've integrated their family life and their professional life in a way that seems very healthy," he said. "So just watching how they navigate all of that, because next time I got to work, I'm gonna be a daddy."
On Instagram, the actress also captioned a photo of herself and her baby bump with her own definition of "mother," writing, "A fantastic voyage that begins in wonder and transformation. ... i will never forget how this felt and now won’t soon forget how it looked 🌱💞"
