Jennifer Lopez channels a bride onstage at last night's American Music Awards
Jennifer Lopez opted for bridal chic while performing at the 2021 American Music Awards in LA on Sunday night.
The 52-year-old singer donned a glamorous, ivory-coloured Dolce and Gabbana ball gown with a structured corset which gave off serious wedding dress vibes.
From the frothy layers of tulle, to the couture veil, and the way her hair was pulled back into a chic bun, the bridal look had some speculating that Lopez might have marriage on her mind.
But then again, she was performing the single On My Way, which is on the soundtrack for her upcoming rom-com, Marry Me, so the bridal outfit was entirely on theme.
Lopez began the performance in a stunning black dress with white accents and a bejewelled microphone as she sang in front of a virtual orchestra.
The singer then disappeared behind a screen and came out wearing the bridal-inspired gown complete with matching veil.

Sticking to the big day-theme, Lopez finished off her routine by throwing her veil into the audience like a bouquet of flowers.
Lopez's new song dropped on Thursday. "This song is about pushing through old mistakes and finding your destiny ... But this is just for you guys here tonight," Lopez told fans while performing the track for the first time at Global Citizen Live in September.
Also in a reference to the new song, Lopez shared a selfie of herself heading to the awards show.

"#OnMyWay to you @AMAs," she tweeted alongside the glamorous snapshot.
The wedding dress performance comes just a few days after the singer and actor said on the Today show that she still believes in marriage.
"I don't know, yeah, I guess," she said when asked if she would walk down the aisle again. "I still believe in happily ever after, for sure, 100%."
Watch: Jennifer Lopez open to getting married again
No doubt, the performance will have had people wondering if Lopez is considering taking the next steps in her rebooted relationship with Ben Affleck.
The couple, affectionately dubbed Bennifer, dated in the early noughties and were engaged, before breaking up in 2004, but rekindled their romance earlier this year.

At the very beginning of the year, Lopez was engaged to Alex Rodriquez. The couple postponed their wedding several times, citing the pandemic as the primary reason for the cancellations, but the couple eventually called time on their relationship and Lopez found herself back in the arms of her former beau Affleck.
While Affleck wasn't in attendance for last night's bridal performance, fans can't help but wonder if the star is giving a major hint about what's to come in her personal life.
Particularly as her one-time publicist, Rob Shuter, claimed last month that he could see the pair getting married - also hinting that Affleck was the one who got away.
If JLo looks this good in a faux wedding dress for a performance - just imagine how good she'd look in real life.
