Jennifer Lopez, 52, sets Internet aflame with bikini photos: 'Summer mode activated'
Jennifer Lopez has announced her summer has begun – regardless of when the official date is – with a series of ab-baring bikini snaps.
The singer and actor, 52, shared two poolside images of her wearing a black string bikini, completed with a butterfly-print black silk robe and heels from her own JLo Jennifer Lopez Shoes label, as well as a clip of her twirling for a photoshoot, her family dog Tyson casually strolling past.
"Summer mode: activated," her caption reads, with a sunglasses face emoji and black heart, as she embraces the season.
And her 210 million followers couldn't get enough.
Heidi Klum commented with a single heart eyes face, summing up the post.
The beauty world also loved the look, with hair stylist to the stars Chris Appleton commenting, "Yesss" with a string of fire emojis.
Meanwhile, celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik – behind her latest tribute to her fiancé Ben Affleck – joked, "Tyson!...Fine @jlo you're pretty too."
"Goddess" a fan also commented, while others wrote, "I'm literally speechless", 'Stunning" and "How I'm showing up to my community pool this weekend...".

So, how does the Marry Me star keep her fitness levels up? One of her trainers, Dodd Romero previously shared with O, the Oprah Magazine, that when she's training, she commits to roughly an hour, four to five times a week, focusing on different body parts each time.
For example, for her abs, this typically involves three sets, starting with 50 hanging ab raises, 50 rope crunches, 50 incline sit ups with a 45 pound plate, repeating the same but with 35 reps, and the same again, but with 21 reps.
Another of her trainers, David Kirsch, told the New York Post, "There's no quit in Jennifer, she's hardcore," describing her as "very hyper-focused and very disciplined".
He also said at the time that she "she keeps her diet very clean" and "hasn't had caffeine or alcohol in years".

In terms of her skin, she swears by one simple trick. "One of the big things I would encourage everybody to do from the time they're 15 years old, even younger, is wear sunscreen every day," she told ELLE.com
"That's a big skincare secret that people kind of do but don't do," she added, referring to sunscreen that can also be worn as moisturiser. "They use moisturisers, but they don't put on sunscreen every day. That is something I have done from that time I was 22 years old."
This was inspired by a doctor who told her in her 20s that if she used the cleanser and sunscreen he gave her her skin "was going to be great" as she got older, with her opting for this instead of botox, after another doctor tried to suggest it to her.
"I just wonder what would've happened to me if I would've started Botox at 23, what I would look like right now. My face would be a totally different face today," she added.
Lopez also more recently took the internet by storm again – or her nail artist Bachik did – when he shared a closeup photo of her left hand, featuring her huge engagement ring, and the letters 'J' and 'B', with a heart and arrows, drawn in gold on her nails.

"If you know...then you know. Jen and Ben forever," he captioned the image. "#couplegoals for the boss @jlo #nailsbytombachik."
"This is so cute," commented a fan, while others wrote, "Bennifer forever!!!! I love it!!", and "Definitely couple goals".
After reportedly reuniting as a couple in April 2021, a year later they got engaged, with Lopez soon revealing how Affleck proposed to her for the second time.
"Did you ever imagine your biggest dream could come true?" she wrote in her newsletter, On The JLo. "Saturday night while at my favourite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed.
"I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless and he said, 'is that a yes?' I said YES of course that's a YES."
She had previously told People magazine, "We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things," commenting on the difference between their relationship that ended nearly 20 years before.
