When Jennifer Aniston first appeared on our screens as daddy’s girl Rachel Green in hit TV show Friends, we couldn’t notice that her skin was positively glowing.
And now - 16 years on from the airing of the final episode - though so much has changed, you don’t need to be eagle-eyed to notice that Aniston’s skin is still pretty youthful.
As other A-listers arrived at her 51st birthday bash last night (Feb 11), hosted at the upscale Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles where guests included co-star Courteney Cox, Jen stepped out of her chauffeured car looking every bit as luminous as the Rachel we know and love.
So, how does she do it?
Back in 2019, Aniston revealed the secrets behind her skincare during an interview with Vogue - and you’ll be pleased to know that her favourite beauty buy isn’t a designer brand, it costs a down-to-earth £16.51.
“We are sold such a bill of goods wrapped up in expensive packaging but I have found that when it comes to a skincare routine, the simpler the better,” she told Vogue.
“I’m obsessed with the science bit,” Aniston adds. “I find it very interesting and working with beauty brands like Aveeno helped me to learn that there are so many chemicals in products that really aren’t good for skin.”
And, as the face of skincare brand Aveeno for the last seven years (she’s been using the brand since she was a teenager), if anyone knows the brand inside out, it’s her.
The exact product behind her youthful glow is the Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 and is available on Amazon for £16.51, where the product already has over 500 ratings.

And it seems that it isn’t only Jen who loves the daily moisturiser, other fans called it a “saviour product” and their “go-to” skincare choice.
“This is my second time purchasing this product. After my first one ran out, I thought I’d be fine and move on to whatever I had in my cabinet to use in its place. Within a week, I was very much missing this product,” one reviewer wrote. “It moisturizers when and where it should without a greasy shine. The texture and smoothness of my skin very much improved. I don’t plan to be without it the next time I run out.”
Happy birthday Jennifer, thanks for proving that great skincare doesn’t need a great price tag attached!
