Inside Annie and Kyle Walker's 'fresh start' abroad to 'give marriage another go' without Lauryn Goodman
Life for Annie Kilner has hardly been smooth sailing - not only did her husband Kyle Walker conceive two children with another woman, but now she's allegedly served the England footballer divorce papers because she "just can't forgive him for what he's done to her". The pair, who quickly fell for one another when 18 year old Kyle was playing for Sheffield United and Annie was a 16-year-old model, are parents to four children - Roman, Riaan, Reign, and Rezon. After 12 years together, they secretly tied the knot in a small romantic ceremony in November 2022, but things came tumbling down when it emerged that Kyle secretly fathered two children with Celebs Go Dating star Lauryn Goodman.
In December 2023, Lauryn texted Annie with a bombshell message to say: "Hey it's Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter." While Annie, who was actually pregnant at the time with their fourth son, confirmed they had split two weeks later - and Kyle moved into a rental near their shared home as he tried to repair their relationship.
With a reported divorce on their hands, it looked like Annie was finally keen to draw a line under the relationship but the rumour mill kicked into overdrive once again when reports suggested that Kyle could be a "leading target” to play for Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli. Now, according to our source, this move might mean new beginnings and a U-turn not only for their family - but also Annie and Kyle's marriage.

The source exclusively said: "Kyle is set to be signed by a Saudi team at the end of next season and if he goes, Annie and the boys will join him. They both feel it could be the fresh start they need to give their marriage another go as they can ignore Lauryn even more."
Annie had announced that she was putting a pause on her relationship with Kyle in January this year and told fans that it was a "sad" day but she needed to take some time away after "many years of marriage and three wonderful children together".
At the time, she said: "I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time." A couple of days later, Kyle broke his own silence on the swirling rumour mill, and publicly "apologised" to his wife of two years for causing her emotional harm.
Since then, Annie and Kyle were thought to have reconciled and had been fighting to save their relationship. And, just days ago, the mum of four added fuel to fire when she took to Instagram to share a throwback from 14 years ago with a picture of herself ready for a night out, along with the caption: “How Saturday night looked in 2010." Notably, it was that same year when Annie began dating Kyle. Then, in another cryptic Instagram post amidst the trials of her marriage, the model was spotted wearing her show-stopping diamond wedding ring.
While the future of Kyle and Annie's marriage remains up in the air, one thing's for sure - Annie's priority will always be her children.
The source continued: "Despite filing for divorce, Annie and Kyle are still living together and she’s not sure she is going to go through with it. They are still working on their future but Annie needs to make sure her and the boys are financially secure with any eventuality and they are determined to remain on good terms for the sake of their children."
Being financially secure is no doubt something that's been on Annie's mind ever since Kyle's court battle with Lauryn when it came to meeting the financial demands of their children - Kairo, born in 2020, and Kinara, born last year. The footballer's ex-mistress was accused of using him as an "open-ended cheque book" after giving birth to their second child and was often "difficult, unreasonable and demanding".
Lauryn's requests from Kyle included a £33,000 lump sum for air conditioning installation in her Sussex home, a new £70,000 car every four years, and a £31,200 astroturf football playing area in her garden, which Lauryn claimed was necessary as their one year old daughter showed potential to be a future Lioness. The judge, however, dismissed most of Lauryn's demands.
