Heidi Klum’s Golden Globes look divides fans: 'Gorgeous woman, terrible dress'
Heidi Klum has ruffled some feathers with her bold 2023 Golden Globes look.
The 49-year-old supermodel made headlines in October last year after dressing as a worm for Halloween, and now it seems as if she wants to start this year as she means to go on with her striking outfit choice.
The television personality donned a Germanier mini dress, which featured a cutaway sparkly bodice covered with a giant purple feather sash.

The dress included a built-in choker, and she accessorised the look with a matching silver clutch and silver heels, and brought along her husband Tom Kaulitz, 33, as her date.
Klum’s look has received mixed reactions from fans on social media, with one person, @LouisPisano, writing: “Heidi Klum continuing her tradition of ONLY understanding the assignment on Halloween.”

The designer of Klum’s dress, Kevin Germanier, took to Instagram to thank Klum for wearing his design, and to explain that the look had been upcycled.
“@heidiklum bringing upcycling to the @goldenglobes,” Germanier wrote on his Instagram Story, adding that the dress was made of “deadstock feather and end of roll sequins”.

Klum posted an image of herself and Kaulitz to her Instagram page, captioning the image with “date night”. She also posted several behind-the-scenes videos to her Instagram Stories, including revealing her post-show meal of sausages and greens.
Klum’s look was one of many sparkly numbers on the 2023 Golden Globes red carpet, as stars took the opportunity to shine at the first awards show of the season.
Other guests in sequins included Black Panther’s Angela Bassett, who won Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture, and The White Lotus’ Jennifer Coolidge, who took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Television Limited Series/Motion Picture.
