Heavily Pregnant Olivia Wilde Gives Selfish Subway Riders What For

If you were heavily, heavily pregnant and on a subway, metro or tube, you’d expect someone to offer up their seat for you, right?
According to a recent tweet by Olivia Wilde, nope - people can be pretty darn selfish.
Olivia Wilde is expecting her second child with fiancé Jason Sudeikis, but when she recently rode the subway, no one offered her somewhere to sit.
So she took to Twitter to call out her fellow passengers:
NBD, able-bodied 🚇 riders who won’t give your seat to a GIANT preggo. I’ll just stand riiiiight next to your head and pray I go into labor.

“NBD, able-bodied riders who won’t give your seat to a GIANT preggo,” Wilde tweeted. “I’ll just stand riiiiight next to your head and pray I go into labor. [sic]"
Other Twitter users replied to the tweet with similar sentiments, such as “stand over their shoes and hope your water breaks” and “I’m a big fan of sustained eye contact and repeatedly jostling them with my belly.”
Several others said they’d had similar experiences themselves, as one user tweeted: “I’m 39 weeks pregnant still commuting and I basically have to stand the whole wide into the city! It’s disgusting!!”

Another person wrote: “I rode the A my entire pregnancy, these clowns raced me to seats. I never got a seat. Even the day I went into labor on train.”
One even recalled: “one time I only got a seat bc I fainted. Another time, i stood in front of 3 men who didn’t move. #jerks.”
