Hayley Palmer poses in bikini amid new romance - five months after split from The Chase's Mark Labbett
Hayley Palmer has shared photos from her current Greek holiday on Instagram, in which she is soaking up the sun in a pretty silver bikini and sarong. The TV presenter, who was in a relationship with The Chase’s Mark Labbett for a year before they announced their break up in May, recently hinted to her followers that she is in a new relationship after she was asked during an Instagram Q&A: “Are you dating anyone?!” Hayley’s reply was: “ There is a certain someone … but I’m not revealing all! X”
The Sky TV presenter had previously revealed she was blindsided when Mark, who is known as The Beast on The Chase, ended their relationship five months ago, via an abrupt phone-call, just days after they had marked their one-year anniversary with romantic celebrations.
Following their split, there were reports that Mark blamed their 16-year age gap for the breakup and that his Rotherham location versus Hayley’s London base caused tension.
Back in July, Hayley, 42, opened up about the split to OK!, admitting it was a shock. “We had our one-year anniversary – we were celebrating. We were booking theatre tickets with my mum and dad, we were organising quiz nights together. We were in a really good place – as far as I was aware. So when the phone call came completely out of the blue, the shock hit me so bad to my nervous system that, on reflection, I think I had a panic attack on the spot and lost all control of my body."

Hayley also spoke about the split on the My Dirty Laundry podcast. "The way he did it, his voice still haunts me to this day. I'm having counselling because someone told me, 'What you've had is betrayal trauma.' "They said, 'Have you been having flashbacks and nightmares and anxiety? ' I said, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I get'. It's just the shock to your body of it completely coming out of the blue."
She said that Mark phoned her just days after their first anniversary, and initially was just chatting as normal to her. "And then he said, 'Right, this is not gonna be easy to tell you, but you were right. I don't want to get a divorce'," she said, referring to the fact that he had decided not to continue with legal divorce proceedings from his estranged wife Katie. Hayley said the conversation ended when she hung up, and the pair have not spoken since.
