Meghan and Harry 'hire godsend new nanny' for baby Archie
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly hired a new nanny for three-month-old baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
While it’s understood that the childcarer does not live with Harry, 34, and Meghan, 38, at their home Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, she is said to have joined them on their recent trip to Ibiza and to Sir Elton John’s £15 million villa in Nice.
The nanny will also reportedly join the Sussexes on their royal tour of Africa this autumn. It will be their first official overseas visit as a family of three.
A source told The Sun: “Meghan is a very hands-on mum but the new nanny is a godsend.
“She is extremely professional, with a number of nannying years under her belt, and has fitted into the family really well.
“She’s great with little Archie and just adores him. Harry and Meghan are very happy with her.”

The nanny is the latest addition to Harry and Meghan’s team, after the appointment of former diplomat Fiona Mcilwham as their private secretary. She replaces the Queen’s former aide, Samantha Cohen, from her temporary role in the post.
It has been reported that the couple’s first two nannies left their positions within weeks, with one working nights only.
A source previously told The Sun that Harry and Meghan “do not want to rush this or take any risks getting this decision right.”

When the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first child Prince George was born in July 2013, Prince William’s former nanny Jessie Webb, then 71, came out of retirement to help the family.
They later hired Norland nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo when George was eight months old. Since then, Kate and William have added to their family with the addition of Princess Charlotte in 2015 and Prince Louis in 2018.
