Grammys 2022 red carpet fashion: Best outfits from Lady Gaga to Billie Eilish
After a three month postponement due to the increasing COVID-19 cases in January, the music industry’s best and brightest stars finally descended on the Grammys 2022 red carpet at Las Vegas’s iconic MGM Grand casino on Sunday for the 64th annual awards ceremony.
The Grammys is synonymous with fun, flirty fashion. Leaning towards being less serious that its TV and film counterparts, music’s biggest night tends to boast celebs expressing their personal style on the red carpet with tongue-in-cheek outfits, and attempts to go viral, and the Grammys 2022 red carpet was no exception.
The celebrities descending on the Nevada desert city embraced the kind of glitz and glamour for which Las Vegas is known. Lady Gaga channeled old Hollywood glamour in a one-shouldered black and white Armani Privé gown with a full train and Tiffany & Co. diamonds, no less, while St. Vincent went full showgirl in a sheer, bell-sleeved feathered Gucci gown.
Elsewhere, menswear took centre stage thanks to Lil Nas X in an embellished baroque Balmain’s pearl-encrusted suit, and Leon Bridges, who took a leaf out of Elvis’ book in a star-spangled white flared suit.
