Goth Crocs have landed just in time for summer
Once reserved for camera-clutching tourists and holidaying dads across the globe, Crocs have long divided fashion critics.
But now, it seems the famous rubber shoe has been given a gram-worthy revamp and the Internet is (surprisingly) here for them.

US seller Heavy Cream Store is selling bespoke ‘Goth Crocs’ on Etsy accessorised with not-so-commuter-friendly spikes and stainless steal chains.
If that isn’t enough to breach health and safety standards, then you can even request a chain which attaches to the belt loop on your trousers.
But the unisex shoes aren’t cheap, as prices kick-start at £190.60 and vary depending on the alterations you decide to make.

Yet the price tag isn’t putting off any potential buyers, as social media users flocked to praise the shoes when the seller shared a preview on Instagram.

One commented, “I need”.
While another wrote, “I legitimately enjoy these”.

Though one Instagram user raised a good point, as they questioned: “Are the spikes safe for when walking about? Would I injure myself or others lol?”
But the Croc comeback has been on the horizon for some time after designer Christopher Kane introduced a rock-emblazoned version of the sandals to the runway for SS17.

Then last year, rapper Post Malone’s Croc collaboration sold out within minutes – a further indication of its increasing popularity.
If Goth Crocs aren’t for you then check out Amazon where you can bag a pair of heeled sandals for just £36.77 – just in time for summer.
