Last night’s Golden Globes 2020 not only saw hundreds of dreamy dresses hit the first red carpet of the year, but also, an array of noteworthy beauty looks.
While recreating an A-listers dreamy designer ballgown is most probably out of the question, getting your favourite stars beauty look is often well within budget.
At this year’s Golden Globe Awards, the majority of stars kept their make-up simple. And while a few including Helen Mirren, Priyanka Chopra, Olivia Colman and Zoe Kravitz went for a bold red lip, the majority opted for an au naturel nude lip.
Furthermore, celebs seemed to have a penchant for one nude lipstick in particular: Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk.
Numerous celebrity make-up artists, including Charlotte Tilbury herself, took to Instagram to give a breakdown of how they created star’s glamorous red carpet looks. Salma Hayek, Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips’ make-up masterpieces all including the iconic lip colour.
The original Pillow Talk Lipstick launched in February 2017 and has since become a cult favourite, many considering it the be the perfect nude shade.
Why, you ask? The matte nude has a velvety texture with pink undertones, which flatters all skin tones and lasts up to six hours.
There’s also a complimenting Pillow Talk ‘Lip Cheat’ lip liner that helps re-size and re-shape the appearance of your lips.

At the awards ceremony, Tilbury exclusively revealed that there would be a new addition to her best-selling Pillow Talk collection launching this month, which had been debuted on the red carpet.
The new Matte Revolution Pillow Talk Lipstick shade called ‘Medium’ was worn by Salma Hayek. It boasted a warm berry-pink tone that perfectly complimented her teal Gucci dress.
Michelle Williams’s make-up artist, Angela Levin, also revealed that the pregnant actor wore both the lip liner and lipstick in Pillow Talk to go with her Louis Vuitton gown.
