GK Barry's broken promise revealed ahead of ITV I'm A Celebrity appearance

We're just a matter of hours away from the launch of this year's I'm A Celebrity, with ten famous faces ready for three weeks of Bushtucker trials, creepy crawlies and plenty of rice and beans.

One of the stars of this year's series is internet sensation GK Barry, real name Grace Eleanor Keeling, who has her own podcast and a huge following on social media.

On her Saving Grace podcast, the influencer regularly has celebrity guests appear to speak about their lives and experiences.

In an episode where she had previous I'm A Celebrity finalist Ferne McCann on a year ago, Grace admitted "there's no way" she could do it.

Speaking specifically about the trials, she expressed: "If I got put in a coffin with a few rats and cockroaches, I would pass away.

"I genuinely think my body would go, 'nah, you're alright, just leave me here, bury me alive and be done with it.' There's no way."

She also admitted she would struggle with not eating, considering the campmates are mainly on rice and beans each day.

"When I'm hungry, I become a horrible person, I'd be arguing with everyone in there, just from hunger."

Over the years, Grace has had some huge stars on her podcast, including Alison Hammond, Alan Carr, Coleen Nolan and Katie Price.

Her podcast has 490 thousand subscribers currently, and she boasts 877 thousand followers on Instagram and a huge 3.6 million followers on TikTok.

Grace joined Loose Women earlier this year as the youngest ever panellist and appeared in Don't Look Down for Stand Up To Cancer on Channel 4.

Grace will be joined in the jungle by a slew of famous faces including McFly's Danny Jones, Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse, Coleen Rooney and radio host Melvin Odoom.

Also heading to Australia are N-Dubz singer Tulisa, Coronation Street's Alan Halsall, Loose Women's Jane Moore, Radio 1 star Dean McCullough and boxing promoter Barry McGuigan.

Love Island's Maura Higgins and Rev Richard Coles are expected to be late entrants in the jungle, taking up the total to 12 campmates.

I'm A Celebrity kicks off tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
