If you don’t know the Hadid family name, where have you been for the past couple of years? Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid are three model names to know, making up the fashion industry’s current It family. But it’s Gigi that kickstarted it all. After kickstarting her modelling career at the tender age of two, the now 22-year-old moved to the catwalks, finding firm fans in the likes of Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld and Donatella Versace. Tommy Hilfiger liked the Californian so much that he asked her to collaborate with him on collection after collection, resulting in three sell-out ranges and counting. Gigi has wangled her way to the top, earning the Model of the Year trophy at the 2016 Fashion Awards. With a nomination for the same award this year, will she win once again?
