Gigi Hadid embraces cosy winter style in a dressing gown coat
It is the season to get excited about outerwear and when it comes to staying cosy, Gigi Hadid just reminded us to look beyond the super warm puffers and parkas.
The supermodel attended the pop-up store opening for her luxury knitwear label, Guest in Residence, in Seoul, South Korea this week wearing the ultimate cocooning style – a dressing gown coat in the breakout colour of autumn/winter 24, chocolate brown.
The fuzzy, belted style, which Hadid paired with faded jeans and black loafers, made for the perfect relaxed autumnal outfit. A fan of easy, sophisticated dressing, Hadid completed her look with a slick cropped hairstyle, rosy lip colour and a gold necklace.
Speaking about the importance of putting comfort first after the launch of her Guest in Residence brand in 2022, Hadid told Harper's Bazaar US: "My goal in life is to look as chic or put together as possible while always being comfortable. I very rarely, even on red carpets, will wear things that I feel uncomfortable in throughout the event because I just feel like I can't be myself as much when I'm thinking about what I'm wearing in that way."
For a more polished take on Hadid's style, a robe-like coat in wool or cashmere is a timeless outerwear option that has an effortless but classic feel. Oversized designs are ideal for layering over occasion wear in the evenings and can prove to be the most luxurious item in your wardrobe, particularly in colours like cream and camel.
