Genius Rings Stop Your Other Half Watching Netflix Without You

Binge cheating is a thing. And we’ve ALL been there. You’re mid way through a box set when, despite promising you he wouldn’t, your other half can’t resist galloping three episodes ahead while you’re on a night out with the girls.
Not only have they broken their promise to wait for you, but you then have to sit through the next couple of episodes trying not to look at their, frankly rubbish, TV poker face in case a covert eyebrow raise gives the game away. Gah!
And don’t make out you’re blame-less either. How many times have you told yourself you’ll just watch the one while your boyfriend’s back is turned, only to find yourself eight episodes in and three major storylines cracked. Oops.

Well the clever bods at Cornetto have come up with a genius idea to solve the binge watching betrayal once and for all in the form of a TV series ‘commitment ring’.
You and your partner each wear one and link it to the streaming service of your choice for six months, then use the app to tell it which series you’d like to watch together.
When the rings are close together, the app detects it and unblocks those series. But when you’re apart? Well, let’s just say there’ll be no sneaky Peaky Blinders bingeing for you, or him! Clever huh?

Sadly, the rings aren’t yet available for purchase, but you can sign up here to get information on when and where you can buy them.
And in the mean time you’ll have to trust each other that when you say you’re not going to watch, you’re really not going to watch. Who said romance was dead eh?
