Ewan McGregor's daughter Clara revealed as lingerie campaign model
Ewan McGregor's daughter Clara McGregor has been unveiled as the face of a new lingerie campaign.
The actor and producer can now add model to her expanding CV after becoming the global ambassador for lingerie brand, Bluebella.
The 25-year-old looks incredible in a series of images for the brand's Autumn/Winter 2021 campaign, which launches today (October 14) including their latest drop of styles for Christmas.
“I chose to do the Bluebella campaign because the brand is run by women and their lingerie is made for women and not made for them to please their partners, and they are the most beautiful lingerie I’ve ever seen," she says of the partnership.
“All their pictures show women in a position of power, never submissive and so I knew if I was ever going to do a lingerie campaign it was going to be with them.”

While the Birthday Cake actor, who is also the daughter of Eva Mavrakis, looks fierce in the incredible images, in an interview to promote the launch she revealed that mental health issues would previously have prevented her from doing the campaign.
The model revealed that she began suffering from chronic anxiety at the age of four and has spent years being held back by addiction and mental health issues.
“I simply couldn’t have done this campaign before," she explained. "To jump on a plane and meet new people and shoot a lingerie campaign. Anxiety is suffocating and you just end up limiting yourself, it makes your life a lot smaller.
“I would have panic attacks and had problems sleeping," she continued. "I would burst out crying and it was intense, and I didn’t know what it meant. I had separation anxiety from my parents, I had general anxieties and fears, usually little kid things like being scared of the dark but mine were more extreme.”
She also touched on her battle with prescription drugs after being legally prescribed tranquillisers and becoming dependent on them.

But with the help of therapy and her family, she went on to say that she is on the path to recovery.
“Anxiety is suffocating," she says. "I’m 25 now and I’ve spent a lot of time working on it with therapy but it’s only in the last three to four years that I feel less constricted by it. My sister Esther and my mum are a great help.”

Speaking of the shoot, McGregor said it made her feel "empowered" and she had "a lot of fun doing it".
"It's always a little nerve wracking just wearing a bra and panties but I really got into it and it was empowering," she says.
"I’m very comfortable with my body in general, but the first few shots of a lingerie shoot can be nerve wracking but the vibe from everyone was so cool that I was immediately really comfortable with it.”

McGregor says she chose to do the Bluebella shoot because of the London brand’s stance on LGBTQ+ rights, having been one of the first lingerie brands to use trans models in their campaigns.
She said: “I think it’s really important to acknowledge trans women and that is something that I’ve seen Bluebella do, along with other members of the LGBT+ community.
"I’m bisexual myself so I’m always wanting to work with them because they have represented the LGBT+ community and they are open to all walks of life and different people."
Commenting on the partnership Bluebella Founder and CEO Emily Bendell said: “Clara was a natural choice for the brand. She is a creative and strong woman who sees the world as we do - and she is a passionate advocate for women and the LGBT+ community. We had an amazing day together at the shoot."
As well as Clara McGregor, Ewan McGregor shares daughters Esther, 19, Jamyan, 20, and Anouk, 10, with ex-wife Eve Mavrakis, they split in 2017 after 22 years of marriage.
He is now in a relationship with Mary Elizabeth Winstead and the couple welcomed a son, Laurie, in June 2021.
