The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in Glasgow for a two-day visit to Scotland as part of a UK-wide tour for the couple to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year and in honour of Mental Health Awareness Week.
The royal couple began their tour of the city with a visit to St. John’s primary school.
Kate, 40, stunned in an all-blue ensemble to join a Roots of Empathy session at the school and to speak with students and teachers taking part.
The duchess was seen cuddling an 18-month old baby whilst getting to know the instructors in the session which saw pupils interacting with a mother and her young baby as they learned how to build their understanding of the baby’s needs and emotions.

Kate wore a £170 silk ‘Riley’ blouse by Cefinn, the brand founded by Samantha Cameron, and added to the monochrome look with navy tailored trousers and navy suede court heels.
The brand was launched by Samantha, wife of ex-prime minister David Cameron, in 2017, and quickly became a popular go-to for women in the public eye; from Holly Willoughby to Princess Eugenie, the ex-Smythson creative director’s female-first designs have dominated the mid price range for celebrities in the public eye.

Kate has worn the London-based brand on several occasions, most recently opting for a green leopard-print midi shirt dress with long sleeves as she was spotted getting ice cream with Prince George in April.
The ‘Riley’ blouse design was part of Cefinn Studios inaugural collection and has been a top seller ever since, due to its flattering fit and elegant cut.
Its funnel neck and silk crepe fabric gives it a sophisticated edge, whilst still being suitable to dress up or dress down for any occasion.
The duchess rewore a long navy Catherine Walker coat over the top of her blue ensemble, and accessorised with pearl drop Annoushka earrings.
The French-born, London-based fashion designer Catherine Walker has been providing styles for the royal family since 1977 and was a popular go-to for the duchess’ late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will spend two days visiting Scotland focusing on public engagements surrounding mental health as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Following on from sitting in on the primary school session, the couple are expected to visit a project operated by The Wheatley Group which is transforming the lives of vulnerable people and those at risk of homelessness.
William and Kate, known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn in Scotland, will also visit a new-build property in the Kennishead area later on Wednesday and hear about the importance of good-quality, secure housing.
