The Duchess of Cambridge keeps her skin clear with a really cheap beauty buy
The Duchess of Cambridge‘s skin always looks in tip-top condition.
So it’s no surprise to hear that the royal’s had a few pointers from beauty gurus.
Make-up artist Arabella Preston has revealed just what Kate uses to keep her face spot-free. And you’re bound to have one lying around.
Speaking to The Cut, Preston – who famously gave the Duchess make-up lessons before her wedding in 2011 – said: “It’s all about the flannel.”
According to the beauty expert, a flannel is the ideal way to wash your face morning and night.
It’s a lot gentler than more modern motorised cleansers and will simultaneously exfoliate as well as removing dirt and make-up from your skin.
One writer who tried out the cleansing technique revealed her skin was looking “clearer and better than ever” after just two weeks.
The Duchess doesn’t follow traditional A-list protocol when it comes to beauty. Instead of hiring make-up artists and facialists galore, Kate prefers to do her own make-up.
If you’re looking for the rest of Kate’s skincare regime, it’s carefully under wraps. But the royal is said to be a fan of rosehip oil, slathering it on every day during her pregnancy with Princess Charlotte.
