The Duchess of Cambridge sparkles in an Alexander McQueen cape gown for official dinner
This morning, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down in snow-laden Oslo for the second stint of their Scandinavian royal tour.
And so far, Kate Middleton has championed a series of Brit labels from a powder blue Catherine Walker coat to a £165 lace dress by go-to maternity label, Seraphine.
And it seems the royal is continuing to wave the sartorial flag for the UK, as the Duchess of Cambridge just dressed her bump in her greatest look yet.
For an official dinner at the Royal Palace, the 36-year-old donned a cape dress by one of her favourite labels, Alexander McQueen.
And it’s interesting to note, that despite being hundreds of miles apart, Meghan Markle also chose the Brit designer for tonight’s Endeavour Fund Awards. We wonder who sought sartorial inspiration from whom?
The Duchess of Cambridge accessorised the bejewelled look with a co-ordinating suede clutch and chandelier-inspired earrings, Queen Elizabeth II donned on her wedding day back in 1947.
The official dinner was hosted by King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway and later in the evening, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be introduced to veterans of the Norwegien armed forces.
Tomorrow, the royal couple will continue their tour at Hartvig Nissen School, the location of the country’s cult series, ‘Skam’.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will then meet with the stars and producers of the popular television show.
