Duchess of Cambridge joins Westminster attack survivors in suitably sombre outfit
Today, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry joined survivors and victims’ families of the Westminster Attack for a memorial service.
Held in Westminster Abbey just metres from where Khalid Masood killed four people two weeks ago, the royal trio sat with 1400 other people including members of the emergency services and London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
Kate donned a suitably sombre look consisting of a grey zig-zag printed coat from Missoni and an artistic black hat.
She first wore the noticeable coat back in June 2016 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
A black clutch and heeled pumps along with sheer tights finished off the look.
The Duchess wore her hair in a chic chignon that further showed off her bow-topped headpiece.
Today’s Service of Hope isn’t the first time Kate has been associated with the terrorist attacks. The day after the incident, she gave a heartfelt speech, saying: “I know you would all want to join me in sending our thoughts and prayers to all those sadly affected by yesterday’s terrible attack in Westminster.”
Last night, the Duchess attended the opening night of West End Musical, 42nd Street, wearing a deep red gown by Marchesa Notte.
