Dame Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Hugh Bonneville and Jim Carter were among the film stars who descended on the red carpet in Leicester Square last night for the world premiere of the film, which is released on Friday.
The cast put on a glamorous display with Michelle Dockery leading the best dressed.
The 37-year-old, who plays Lady Mary Crawley, showed off her sartorial prowess in a one-shoulder, sequin, gold gown by London label Galvan.
She styled her dress with gold hoop earrings and wore her hair loose, pulled back from her face.
The dress, from the label’s AW19 collection, is the Roxy Sequinned One-Shoulder Gown by Galvan London and costs an eye-watering £1,095.

The Golden Globe nominee was joined by co-star Elizabeth McGovern, who plays her mother, the Countess of Grantham.
The American actress opted for a neon pink, off-the-shoulder dress by US designer Zac Posen.
She completed the look with diamond earrings, necklace and bracelet and a white Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ box clutch.
Laura Carmichael, 33, who depicts Lady Edith Crawley, opted for a chic sleeveless black dress by Monse with a dramatic thigh split and long train.
Laura’s high-neck gown also featured a hand-shaped brooch on one of the shoulders, adding a whimsical touch to her otherwise simplistic gown.
The trio were joined on the Leicester Square Cineworld red carpet by Hugh Bonneville (Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham) and Allen Leech (Tom Branson), who looked sharp in their classic black tuxedos and bow ties.
Leech was joined by his pregnant wife, Jessica Blair Herman, who dressed her baby bump in a glittering, floor-length gown.
Leech, meanwhile wore a black suit with navy blue velvet loafers.
