Meghan's mother Doria Ragland 'definitely in the UK' ahead of royal baby birth
Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle’s mother, is ‘definitely in the UK’, suggesting that the royal baby’s arrival is imminent.
That’s according to PR expert Nick Ede, who exclusively revealed to Kate Thornton in Yahoo UK’s ‘The Royal Box’ that the 62-year-old yoga instructor has travelled to the UK from Los Angeles, to be by her daughter’s side.
He says: “She’s definitely here, I know that, I’ve been told that she’s here.”
Ede adds that Doria’s ‘ready’ and ‘raring to go’.
“I think she’s going to be a really great grandmother,” he says.
“She’s got a really strong maternal instinct and she’s the perfect partner to be with Meghan at this time.”
Sources close to the family revealed Doria left her bungalow in Los Angeles last week, has hired a dog-sitter, and cancelled a senior citizens yoga class she teaches, according to The Sun on Sunday.
She is thought to be staying at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new 10-bedroom home Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Doria has been by Meghan’s side for every important occasion. She accompanied her daughter in the car during the drive from Cliveden House to St George’s Chapel in Windsor, on her wedding day.
She also made a surprise appearance at the launch of the Hubb Community Kitchen cookbook last September, just weeks before Meghan announced her pregnancy.
