Donald Trump's fear of stairs and 13 other unusual phobias

There’s no way you missed that video clip of Donald Trump and Theresa May holding hands during her visit to the states.

All over the UK, while we’d heard about maintaining a ‘special relationship’ with the US, we suddenly feared we’d got the wrong end of the stick and that it was a different kind of, uh, ‘special’ relationship altogether.

But according to The Times, a Downing Street source revealed that Trump actually has a phobia – bathmophobia, a fear of falling down stairs and slopes – and thus reached for May’s hand.

We hadn’t heard of it either – or any of these other unusual phobias, in fact.
