Detachable jeans that turn into shorts are the latest weird denim creation
The past few months have seen some of the weirdest denim pieces known to man.
If it wasn’t Topshop’s plastic style causing chaos, it was Vetements’ bum-baring design.
Brace yourselves for another dose of strangeness for buzzy new brand, Y/Project, has attempted to outdo the rest.
They have recently released a pair of jeans that transform into teeny tiny denim shorts. By simply unbuttoning the top half, you can go from work-appropriate to summer-ready.
Y/Project is the label headed up by Belgian designer Glenn Martens. He may have only taken over the brand in 2012 but already, his collections fill Instagram feeds come fashion week.
Martens has been likened to Vetements’ Demna Gvasalia thanks to his revolutionary feel and slouchy unisex designs.
The new jeans aren’t cheap at £350 but who wouldn’t want a two-in-one denim creation?
If you’re quite into the look, they come in a bleached blue hue or simple white and black.
But be quick because we predict a sell-out thanks to the likes of Rihanna or Kendall wearing these in the next few weeks.
