These denim thong shorts are like nothing you've ever seen
Daisy Dukes – super-short, half-covering-your-bum denim shorts – aren’t for the faint hearted.
Named after Daisy Duke herself, a character from TV series ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ (and yes – her very short shorts), we only tend to see them at festivals on the most daring of women.
But this extreme look has been trumped by something far more horrifying; denim thong shorts.
A wedgie in fashion form, the “Mid Wash Denim Knicker” is being sold by young fashion brand PrettyLittleThing for £15.
In fact, even PrettyLittleThing isn’t trying to pass them off as shorts, so let’s start calling them what they really are; denim knickers.
If you’re game to wear them, the brand’s website even has some handy advice on how to style them.
The knicker’s product description reads: “Dare to wear these fierce denim knickers girl. Featuring a denim material in a seriously flattering high rise style.
“Team these with some killer chap trousers and matching bralet for a show-stopping festival outfit that is gonna get you noticed for all of the right reasons.”
So yes, if instead of being instantly weirded out by them you wondered if they had a matching bralet, there’s that too.
Understandably, Twitter is going absolutely wild over them.

“I swear to god if I see any girls wearing them,” wrote one Twitter user.
“Makes me question everything,” said another.
While many tweets have been of shock and total confusion, others are fans and see no problem whatsoever.

Another said: “Yassss gal in my basket.”
“Defo an Ibiza item,” one person tweeted.
Each to their own.
