A Creme Egg cheesecake INSIDE an Easter egg? What's not to like
Whether you’ve been gobbling Creme Eggs everyday in the run-up to Easter or are on a fully committed chocolate ban for Lent, we’ve got news that will make you wish the holiday would hurry up already.
Drumroll, please…
Creme Egg and Ferrero Rocher cheesecakes hidden inside Easter eggs now exist.
Welsh cafe, The Cottage Coffee Shop & Lunch Bar, has filled chocolate egg shells with the beloved dessert before topping with more tasty treats for good measure.
Each cheesecake-topped egg weighs in at just £3.50 or you can bag two for £6. We wonder if they’d do us a deal on ten?
But if you fancy bagging one then you need to hurry, as the local family business keeps selling out with many chocolate fans queueing up before the shop opens.
Co-owner Josie Staple told the Metro: “As our Easter cheesecakes are so popular, we’ve been experimenting and trying to make them even more delicious!”
She added, “And we’ve come up with Creme Egg cheesecakes – inside an Easter egg, topped with even more Creme Eggs!”
Turns out, heaven is a place on earth.
