Coleen Rooney spills on first date with Wayne and secret 'kiss behind the church'
As Coleen Rooney settles into the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, she has already given her fellow campmates an insight into her home life with footballer Wayne. The couple have been married for 14 years and met when Coleen was just 16 years old.
Dishing on her first date with the sportsman back when they were teenagers. Coleen, now 38, detailed how the couple went to the cinema before sharing a secret kiss. "We had a kiss around the church first!" said Coleen as she reminisced. However, it wasn't an instant spark, as Coleen admitted she made Wayne wait until she'd done her GCSE's before she agreed to the date.
“It was love at first sight for Wayne but not for me," said the WAG. "He fought to get me, yeah. I waited until I'd done my GCSEs and then I went on a date. I was pretty good at school."

Fast forward to 2024, the couple now share four children; Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass, with Wayne holding the fort while he and the kids support Coleen's jungle adventure from home. During the show's launch, Coleen got off to a hilarious start as she was dubbed "Wagatha Christie" by her fellow campmate minutes into the episode.
Radio 1's Dean McCullough cheekily brought up her notable nickname a moniker she earned due to her sleuthing skills reminiscent of author Agatha Christie which came to light during her dispute with Rebekah Vardy. The drama unfolded after Coleen orchestrated a clever sting operation in 2019 to reveal who was leaking stories from her private Instagram account to tabloids. Following her dramatic skydive onto the show, Dean teamed up with Coleen over Melvin Odoom, quipping: "Melvin, I'm so so sorry! Wagatha Christie you're coming with me! " as they darted off together in a 4x4 to continue their adventure.
Viewers were quick to tweet about the "hilarious" interaction. On social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, one viewer commented: "Coleen is never living that down as long as she lives. Arguably more famous than Wayne at this point."
