As Coleen Rooney settles into the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, the 38 year old has shared some insights into her relationship with footballer Wayne. The couple have been married for 14 years and met when Coleen was just 16 years old, but the WAG has been dishing some of their private stories to her fellow campmates.

In one story, Coleen explained about a time she went to her friend’s 18th birthday party and she got a call from Wayne’s cousin beforehand - to say Wayne was about to get a tattoo for her. He asked if she spelt her name with one 'L' or two 'Ls' and, when asking why, he replied: “I’m just with our Wayne in town, he’s getting a tattoo.”

Coleen then went onto explained that she'd “not long been going with him" and couldn't believe it. She continued: "I go to this party later on, and he’s going to everybody like this [mocks showing her arm]. He’d got my name tattooed on him! At 17!”.

In camp, Coleen also recalled the early days of dating Wayne, 39, back when they were teenagers. She said: “I was still at school when he was playing for Everton. I used to walk out and all the girls were going, ‘Whose is that car there?’ And he was in a Bentley and something else and there’s Wayne in the passenger seat with his arm out and one of the players like Thomas Gravesen.”

The TV star added: “I just used to get embarrassed.” Clarifying it wasn’t his car, “He just used to get a lift home!”

Fast forward to 2024, the couple now share four children; Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass, with Wayne holding the fort while he and the kids support Coleen's jungle adventure from home. During the show's launch, Coleen got off to a hilarious start as she was dubbed "Wagatha Christie" by her fellow campmate minutes into the episode.

Radio 1's Dean McCullough cheekily brought up her notable nickname a moniker she earned due to her sleuthing skills reminiscent of author Agatha Christie which came to light during her dispute with Rebekah Vardy. The drama unfolded after Coleen orchestrated a clever sting operation in 2019 to reveal who was leaking stories from her private Instagram account to tabloids. Following her dramatic skydive onto the show, Dean teamed up with Coleen over Melvin Odoom, quipping: "Melvin, I'm so so sorry! Wagatha Christie you're coming with me! " as they darted off together in a 4x4 to continue their adventure.
