The live episodes of Strictly Come Dancing have commenced, meaning that hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are back on screen wearing suitably glamorous outfits.

Last night, Winkleman wowed viewers with a strapless velvet-trimmed embellished tulle gown by high-end fashion brand Marchesa.

The star, 48, shared a black and white snap with her co-star – who herself wore a one-shouldered, sparkly jumpsuit – to Instagram.

Her post has received more than 34,000 ‘likes’ and over 400 messages praising her stylish look.

The beautiful number was clearly a crowd-pleaser, and it is currently in the sale on The Outnet.

While it’s not in everyone’s price range, it is reduced by a whopping 67% from £2,525 to £834 – best be quick if you want to treat yourself as there’s only a couple of sizes left.

Winkleman’s appearance on the popular dance show came as she recently opened up to the Daily Mail about fearing being fired for much of her career.

She said: “I’m waiting for somebody to tap me on the shoulder and go, ‘Oh, sorry, we’ve got this all wrong, you are not allowed to go in again, we’ve got Rylan instead,’ but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Imposter syndrome is incredibly useful.”

The star – who began co-hosting Strictly in 2014 – said she didn’t want to be kind of person who thinks “I was born to do this, get out of my way.”

She added: “Feeling – don’t throw up – grateful and slightly surprised I think is a good thing. It keeps you on your toes.”

In the same interview, the mother-of-three credited her own mother, journalist Eve Pollard, with her down-to-earth attitude and family-centric approach to life.

She said: “I always knew I came first with my parents, and I try to do that with my kids.

“When my son was really little, I was going to work, and he asked why.

“I couldn’t explain to him the mortgage and all of that, so I just said, ‘Mummy’s going to work to buy bananas,’ because he loved bananas then.

“He must have been six when he came up to me, holding bananas, going, ‘Mummy, you don’t need to go, we have bananas!’ I had to explain that I actually like going to work.”

Winkleman has previously said that she and Daly, 51, who are firm friends, will exit the show at the same time should they wish to quit.
