Claudia Schiffer, 48, poses naked for age-defying magazine cover
Claudia Schiffer just reminded us why she’s one of the world’s most legendary models by posing naked for one of her most incredible magazine covers to date.
The 48-year-old is the star of Vogue Italia’s August issue with just a pair of neon heels and clutch bag to conceal her modesty.
Shot by photographer Collier Schorr, the age-defying editorial marks 25 years since her first Vogue cover - a milestone that’s hard to believe.
A second shot further demonstrates her staying power, as the German supermodel is seen in nothing but a chic power-shoulder blazer and matching platform heels.
Though Schiffer isn’t the only ‘90s supermodel to grace the Italian publication this month, as she was joined by Stephanie Seymour.
The 51-year-old’s cover is just as impressive too, as the model, who secured her first Vogue cover in 1988, is pictured wearing just a belt and bouncy blow dry in front of a retro camera.

The magazine’s most recent editorial is inspired by fashion photographer, Helmut Newton, who rose to fame in the ‘70s.
“Because of who I am and who they are, I think these shoots are about women’s acknowledgement of their own sexuality, and is very different to the representation of desire, which is always connected to the maker of the picture,” Schorr said on the shoot.
“I think this was about Claudia, Stephanie’s and my relationships with our sexualities and bodies, and about being seen as older women.”
Schiffer was an original member of 90s supermodel set after being scouted at the tender age of 17 in a Düsseldorf nightclub.
Just two years later, she landed a Guess campaign which propelled her to worldwide stardom with her going on to walk for the likes of Chanel and Versace in the late ‘80s and ‘90s.
Her latest shoot comes 25 years after her first Vogue cover, which she graced alongside the likes of Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista.
The mother-of-three recently opened up about embracing how life has changed since the nineties and opened up about joys of the ageing process.

“Age should be celebrated and revered,” Schiffer told InStyle magazine. “I feel 48, and I’m proud of it. There’s a reason we have cakes and parties on birthdays, and I feel the same way about getting older each year as I did when I was a child.”
