Christmas chocolate selection boxes have been the source of many a festive family fight.
Not only do we all have our favourites that disappear from the tin the very moment it's cracked open, there are always a few sad chocs left languishing in the tin long after the decorations are packed away.
And sadly the Bounties are usually among them.
That's not us pushing our own personal opinions about the coconut chocolate, but research has suggested Bounty is the nation's least favourite in a box of Celebrations, with over half (52%) admitting to picking it last – and 32% admit to throwing away unwanted chocolates.

This dislike of Bounty chocolate is most prevalent in Brits aged 18-24, with 44% of them choosing it last, while the Maltesers Teasers comes out as a festive fave with 63% selecting it first.

Thankfully, if you're among the Bounty boycotters you're in luck as this year, Mars Wrigley have decided to let you trade in your leftover Bounties and swap them for the top pick, Malteser Teasers.
For the first time ever, Mars Wrigley is offering to take back unwanted Bounty bars from Celebrations selection boxes and swap them for Maltesers Teasers.
The move forms part of the Bounty Return Scheme, which is launching across the nation in January 2022, rolling out across three locations Including Glasgow, London and Manchester from January 17.

In order to launch the scheme, there is also a new festive advert, Lonely Bounty that depicts a heartwarming seasonal love story featuring two outsiders, the Bounty Bar and the Brussels sprout.
Developed by Taylor Herring, the light-hearted vid likens the Bounty bar to the dreaded Brussels sprout, disliked by 43% of respondents.
"Our film highlights a love affair between two outsiders – Bounty and sprout. The unlikeliest of couples but, nonetheless, a love for the ages," says Cemre Cudal, Mars Wrigley’s head of Christmas.
"I defy anyone not to fall in love with Bounty after they watch this heart-breaking film.
"And if after all that, you still can’t bring yourself to love a Bounty this Christmas, we’ll take them back as part of our Bounty Return Scheme in January. Because no Bounty should be left alone at the bottom of a Celebrations tub."
Mars Wrigley aren't the only ones making moves to prevent chocolate leftovers ruining Christmas, Quality Street are also bringing back their in-store pick and mix, which means you'll be able to put together your tin of dreams, coffee creams not required.
Choc fans can create their own bespoke collection of favourites from the 12 sweets in this year’s assortment, which includes an exciting new flavour.
The latest addition to the iconic chocolate box is the Crème Caramel Crisp chocolate, which is the brand’s 12th flavour, following the discontinuation of one of its toffee flavours last year.
