Christie Brinkley shares dilemma over whether to dye her grey roots blonde again
Christie Brinkley has opened up about ageing admitting she's unsure she wants to embrace grey hair and wonders whether she should keep dyeing her hair blonde.
The model, 69, known for her trademark blonde waves, revealed that the "verdict is still out" despite her son Jack, 27, insisting that her natural locks looked "cool".
In a post on Instagram, the mother-of-three, who lives in the Hamptons, NY, shared a picture of herself sat on a sand dune on a beach during an outing at the weekend.
She wrote: "Grey sky! Grey hair! The second you see grey hair it raises the question, just like when you cut bangs...to keep or not to keep?
"Thank goodness both are just a personal preference or a fun change of pace."
Brinkley joked: "My son thinks it looks cool, but I think I may want to wait till it’s more like the silver whitecaps than the grey wave itself! The verdict is still out!"

Her hair dilemma sparked much discussion among her social media followers, who left more than 17,000 'likes'.
One person wrote: "Go natural to encourage more women to embrace the beauty of aging gracefully."
However, another commented: "Your son is being polite and loving…Grey hair makes us look OLD! Blond till the end!!!"
A third shared: "I think each woman should do whatever the hell she wants to with her hair."
Meanwhile, a fourth reasoned: "The only reason people say that grey hair is aging is that we, as a society, have been CONDITIONED to think this, specifically with women."
