Chrissy Teigen just let slip the sex of her unborn baby, but in typical Teigen-style she absolutely owned the moment, flipping it into a low-key gender reveal.
Currently expecting her third child with husband John Legend, the model has been put on bed rest due to complications with her placenta.
While giving a fans an update on the pregnancy on Instagram stories she let slip the sex of the new baby.
And she’s having... a boy.
Speaking about the issues that led her to needing to be on bed rest, Teigen, 34, attempted to reassure fans, saying: “It’s so weird because the baby’s really, really healthy and he’s big. He’s probably...”
She then put her hand over her mouth as she realised she’d revealed the gender.

“Oops! I’m stupid...anyway,” she continued before adding: “It’s growing beautifully, everything's good. I'm feeling really good, but my placenta's really, really weak, and it's causing me to really bleed a lot. Basically it's just pretty high-risk and, you know, it's just this poor thing has been through so much already.”
Rather than delete the video clip, the cookery writer decided to go with it and shared a shorter clip of the moment to her grid, adding a blue heart in a nod to the sex of her unborn baby.
Teigen then responded to a fan on Twitter and confirmed that yes, she had put her baby’s gender out-there.
“The perfect gender reveal, @chrissyteigen,” the fan wrote.
To which the model replied: “no fires and no one shot in the d***.”
ICYMI Teigen is referencing the gender reveal party that is thought to have sparked the El Dorado California wildfire and another incident which involved a dad-to-be shooting himself in the groin with a powder-filled cannon.
CAL Fire released a statement earlier this month revealing that the El Dorado fire was caused by a smoke generating pyrotechnic device, used during a gender reveal party.
Perhaps following these incidents, Teigen realised that low-key was the way to go.

The expectant mum was placed on bed rest earlier this month, but admitted on Instagram earlier this week that she wasn’t sure about the parameters surrounding the doctor’s orders and is now taking the advice “super seriously”.
Teigen and Legend are already parents to two children, daughter Luna, four, and son Miles, two.
Earlier this month Teigen shared a video of her baby scan, while opening up about the anxiety she’s been feeling in early pregnancy.
In the accompanying caption, Teigen discussed the concern she feels about “bits of spotting or pain” that many women experience in early pregnancy.
“On weekends we freak out!” she wrote.
“Before I’m able to start feeling the kicks, the anxiety gets the best of me and any little bits of spotting or pain freak me ouuuuuut.”

Teigen also revealed she’d had Botox injected into her neck to relieve pregnancy headaches.
In a post on Twitter, the food writer said: “I get really, really bad pregnancy headaches.”
Earlier this year, Teigen also shared the fact that she’d undergone surgery to remove her breast implants.
In an Instagram post she explained: “They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it.
“I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie! So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat.”
