Chloe Madeley confirms ‘heartbreaking’ moment she decided to end marriage to James Haskell
TV personality Chloe Madeley has spoken candidly about the moment she made the decision to end her marriage with rugby star James Haskell. Chloe, 37, made the shock announcement that her and ex husband James, 39, who split last year after five years of marriage, and a year after welcoming their baby daughter, Bodhi Rae Georgia Haskell.
Personal trainer Chloe has revealed that while she has split from James, who also appeared on I’m A Celebrity, the separated couple are on good terms as they co-parent their daughter Bodhi - so much so, that the former couple were even still living together until a matter of weeks ago, when James moved out of their shared home.
Chloe, the daughter of TV icons Richard Madeley and Judy Finegan, opened up about their relationship and living situation to former Love Island star Olivia Attwood on her agony aunt podcast, So Wrong It's Right.

Chloe explained: “He's [James] is still technically my husband." Olivia asked the fitness star: "How long have you been separated for?" To which Chloe confirmed: "I'll be honest, exactly a year.”
In the emotional interview Chloe gave more details on the high profile break up, revealing: “When we released the statement, we kind of started to have the conversation in August last year… I think people think it's a specific date, as the days, weeks, months pass it becomes more firmed up.”
Chloe explained: "I think I knew that I was really unhappy and I think he knew he was really unhappy too… But I don't think either of us ever predicted we were going to break-up ever."

She even revealed that she could pinpoint the exact moment in time that she decided to walk away from their five year long marriage.
Chloe shared: "I swear to god, I remember the day, the time, the temperature, the outfits, where we were, everything - I just remember saying it 'I don't think that we should do this anymore', but really meaning it.”
She adds: "It kind of went from there. It doesn't just happen, it didn't for us. It was built upon and it was firmed up as time passed.” On their relationship, she reflected: “11 years is a long time, I've basically grown up into adulthood with him."
Speaking to OK! exclusively earlier this year, Chloe said: “Our love story has come to a close,” but that, “Since James and I made the decision to draw a line under it, I’ve felt really free, happy and calm.”
