Budget wedding dress brand is selling an almost identical version of Meghan Markle's Givenchy gown for £75
Earlier this month, there was an outpouring of support on Mumsnet for a bride-to-be whose friends had been snobby about the H&M bridal-wear she’d bought in the sale.
Proving, once more, that your dream wedding dress needn’t cost the earth, an online fashion retailer is selling stunning white frocks beginning from just £30.
What’s more Chi Chi London stock a gown almost identical to the designer number Meghan Markle wore down the aisle for her Windsor nuptials with Prince Harry last year.
The ‘Meghan’ - priced at a rather affordable £75 - features the same long sleeves, boat neck and form-fitting design as the Duchess of Sussex’s Givenchy couture number.

According to the website, the dress - which is currently available in sizes 6, 8 and 12 - is a “bridal beauty fit for a Princess”.
They add that it has a “fitted bodice with open back and bow tie back detail, contrasting satin waistband, long sleeves, and maxi skirt".
The royal mum-of-one’s dress was designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller, and is reported by Time to be worth in the region of £395,000.
On the day, she paired it with a 16ft lace veil, which incorporated flowers to represent the 53 nations of the Commonwealth, and a 1932 bandeau tiara borrowed from the Queen.

Meghan’s ‘something blue’ was a small piece of blue fabric stitched into her veil which was from the dress she had worn on her first date with the Duke of Sussex.
For the evening reception at Frogmore House, she wore a £3,500 white halter-neck gown by another British designer, Stella McCartney.
As well as regal designs, Chi Chi London’s AW19 collection of wedding dresses also caters to plus-size, petite and tall body shapes.
These include the 'Teana’, which is currently a snip in the sale at £30, and comes in sizes 6 to 14.
It comes as it was revealed the average UK wedding dress is £1,313, and is usually the sixth most expensive item in a couple’s budget for their big day.
