Like many of us in these current unprecedented times, new parents Carrie Symonds, 32, and Boris Johnson, 55, are relying on online deliveries.
The couple, who welcomed their first child together last Wednesday, were seen getting a delivery of eco-friendly baby products by British brand Kit & Kin to their Downing Street home.
Symonds is known for being a keen environmentalist, so it’s no surprise the couple chose earth-friendly and cruelty-free products for their newborn son, Wilfred.
Kit & Kin was created in 2017 by former Spice Girl, Emma Bunton, and product developer, Christopher Money. As parents themselves, the duo wanted to create products that didn’t irritate their children’s skin, and therefore, were inspired to develop natural alternatives.
The award-winning brand now specialises in sustainable products for babies and children, including biodegradable nappies and wipes, which have been approved by dermatologists.
Kit & Kin also sell a variety of skincare, from baby shampoo to a “Magic Salve” that helps sooth nappy rash and dry spots. In fact, the balm has proven to be so popular it is currently sold-out on the website.
The most recent addition to the label is a 100% organic cotton babywear range, which also gives back.
For the collection, Kit & Kin partnered with the World Land Trust so that every item purchased from the range helps to fund community development projects in Guatemala. This includes providing education, healthcare and family planning clinics for local women.
Although we don’t know exactly what was in the box that was heading down Downing Street, here’s a round-up of our top Kit & Kin picks.
